Art and the Outdoors! What more could a girl want?

Elizabeth has two main passions in life: art and the outdoors. Since the early days of her artistic en-devours, she has brought her memories and photographs from the natural world into the "studio" and recreated them through various mediums and creative processes. With a combination of course work and self exploration, Elizabeth loves to dabble in different mediums from paint to pencil to paper-cuttings. Her specialty is landscape paintings, through which she continuously tries to capture and share the beauty and unique gifts found in the public lands of the US.

Elizabeth has been hiking for as long as she can remember and creating art for even longer than that. Naturally these two loves overlap, which was noticed on her 2100+ mile trek of the Appalachian Trail, where she earned the trail name EtchASketch or "Etch" for her creative and often comical sketches in the trail journals along the way. The name "Etch" followed her back into the real word and into her art as well. Among other compositions, she is now working on creating a collection of works focused on the remarkable scenery, plants, animals and people of the Pacific Crest Trail, which she and her partner completed in 2015.

For Elizabeth, her art will always be an extension of her love for nature, and through it, she hopes to expose even more people to the wonders the world has to offer.

Elizabeth's love for the outdoors has led her to recently create 3 Public Lands inspired t-shirts, of which 100% of the profits will go to the fight for preserving our public lands.
